"A Worthy Live One from a Master of Slide"
FolkWax

"A Worthy Live One From A Master of Slide....This is a long awaited release for longtime fans of Roy Rogers. His live shows are the stuff of legends and his signature slide playing is from the top end of town...Live albums are mostly hit and miss affairs...but Rogers' has sensibly recorded in the same venue on consecutive nights to make this release very solid and a worthwhile addition to any CD collection."

"Roy's Slide Takes Center Stage"
OffBeat

"There isn't a slide guitarist in history who didn't sound better live than on record, and Rogers is no exception...The dozen tracks here are well selected, giving equal weight to his many fine solo albums...The band members, veteran road rats all, are tight...and Norton Buffalo and Shana Morrison do indeed show up for cameos. But it's Roy's slide that always takes center stage..."

5 Notes! (Out of 5!)
Roots 66

"This is a fine example of live Mississippi Delta Blues by one of its foremost practitioners. Rogers is a marvel on the guitar and his compositions are authentic Delta blues of the highest quality. Ehrmann, Sanchez, Aaberg, Rigney, Buffalo, and the others are worthy companions in this exciting live performance. The sound is great and the enthusiasm of the audience is infectious. If you couldn't be part of that audience, the next best thing is to put Live! at the Sierra Nevada Brewery Big Room on the stereo and put yourself on the mood for a great time."
